I took this series of photos Thursday May 15, 2003 between 10:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m about 3 miles north of Troy, Ohio (At home). I attached my Nikon F4 to my 90mm Orion Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope. The viewing conditions started out pretty good, but at the time of total eclipse the moon was barely visable. I.E. no photos of the total part of the eclipse. I assembled all of these images together using Adobe Photoshop and adjusted the tones to match, since each of the photos were taken using a little different exposure.
I love your picture, Andy, and want a copy (framed) of it.

Posted by: Chris Pirillo on July 23, 2003 11:29 AMGood job on the photo and editing. I'm just getting into the whole blog thing and I've been looking around to see what everyone else is up to. Your site really stood out because of the eye-catching photography.
